Instructions for use

Cold water therapy should be applied in an appropriate combination of time and temperature. For example, if you are in water at 10°C, we recommend staying in for no more than 10 minutes.

Here are some recommended parameters for a correct and safe use for your health.

1°C – 2°C = 1 minute

3°C – 5°C = 3 minutes

5°C – 7°C = 5 minutes

8°C – 10°C = 10 minutes

IMPORTANT:

Consult your doctor before using an ice bath if you have any health problems.

DO NOT USE if you are under 18, pregnant, have heart disease or high blood pressure, diabetes, have an open wound, recent surgery, epilepsy or any other health problem or risk.

Applying an ice bath can drastically lower your body temperature. It constricts blood vessels and slows blood flow around the body, which, combined with health complications, can lead to health damage.

The effects of an ice bath can be; cold sensation, hypothermia, frostbite, tachycardia (rapid heartbeat), arrhythmias (abnormal heartbeat), allergies and anaphylactic shock.
